Book Launch for NOT OVER: 25 Years of Visual AIDS
Looking at a quarter century of art, AIDS and activism
Who created the red ribbon?
Why did the Guggenheim drape a curtain over its building?
When did the lights purposely go out New York City?
Who is responding to AIDS in 2013?
These are some of the questions answered in NOT OVER: 25
Years of Visual AIDS, a book that is part of our exhibition and event series by
the same name.
Get your copy, and stay for a reception with many of those
involved in the history of Visual AIDS, the making of the book, and our ongoing
work.
Come early at 3pm for Making Sense of Paper, Glitter and Life, a talk moderated by Nayland Blake with the curators of the NOT OVER exhibition series; Andrew Blackley, Kris Nuzzi and Sur Rodney (Sur).
