Opening Reception: Friday, November 13th, 6:00-8:00 PM  

SPANK BANK focuses on narratives of the body and HIV, and its resulting sexual subcultures. In the Prince Street Project space, Viti will exhibit works that represent the sexualized body using industrial materials he would use to decorate the leather/fetish party Pork at the Lure in New York City during the 90s.

In Conversation – Anthony Viti and Rick Herron

Anthony Viti work is currently included in the touring exhibition, Art AIDS America, curated by Jonathan Katz and Rock Hushka, Tacoma Art Museum. He has had solo exhibitions at Deven Golden Fine Art, NY, Tibor de Nagy Gallery, NY and, his work in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY.

Rick Herron is an independent curator, artist, performer and museum worker. He’s curated projects for Visual AIDS, New Museum, The LGBT Center, Queer/ Art, Chashama. Most recently he co-curated with Bill Arning, Powerful Babies: Keith Haring's Impact on Artists Today, Spirit Museum, Stockholm, Sweden. Herron also works as the Assistant Manager of Visitor Services at the New Museum. He is originally from Plattsburg, MO.
