Franki.C 法蘭奇 (b. 1988, Hong Kong) is a Canada / Taiwan-based playwright and interdisciplinary artist whose work amplifies the voices of activists, exiles, and marginalized communities navigating oppression. Through their narratives, they examine how people continue to survive in the wake of lost hope.
With a background in advocacy for labor rights, sex workers’ rights, and human rights across Australia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, Franki’s practice is deeply shaped by lived experience and social movements. Their play Postmarked:, which explores the lives of Hong Kong political exiles and incarcerated individuals, received the Jury Prize at the 25th Taipei Literature Award (2023). Franki is the 2025–2026 Artist-in-Residence at the National Human Rights Museum, Taiwan.
