Edith Alvarez has been a Visual AIDS Artist Member since 2004.

Alvarez’ artwork was featured in “NOT OVER: 25 Years of Visual AIDS” exhibition that looked back at the history of Visual AIDS and contemporary AIDS politics to create a glimpse into a quarter century of AIDS, art and activism. Alvarez was published in Art New’s “Document, Protest, Memorial: AIDS in the Art World” by Barbara Pollack in 2013.
