Johanna Van Wky was born in South Africa and lived and worked in New York. He was a photographer and jewelry designer. He received his AAS in Jewelry Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.), and his jewelry was featured in Vogue, Glamour, Harper's Bazaar, and was seen on the Oprah Winfrey show. His jewelry "Van Wky Bijoux" is in the Collection of the Smithsonian Museum, Washington, DC. His photography has been exhibited in Venezuela and New York.
