Welsch was born in New York City and has been a resident since 1978. Welsch has been an Artist Member since 2010 and has exhibited at The Leslie-Lohman Museum and Gallery, Hasten's, and Kartell.
I was born to create and work in acrylic decorated with mixed media elements. Every portrait painted is one of the artist and not of the sitter. The work is inspired by hidden world knowledge and passion.
