Artists Talk - Frank Holliday at Montclair High School

Holliday presented a lively recounting of his journey as an artist living and working in New York City in the late 20th century. From his early days, emerging in the underground New York art scene of the 1970s, to the the rise and influence of AIDS, Act Up, and his own diagnosis to his current work and life in NYC in the early 21st century, Holliday used images from his major painting cycles to illustrate the lecture. Thanks to art teacher, former Board of Director (and longtime Visual AIDS pal) Stefanie Nagorka for facilitating.
