Day Without Art - 1992
The 4th Annual DAY WITHOUT ART, an International Day of Action and Mourning in Response to the AIDS Crisis, on December 1st, 1992 is scheduled to include Night Without Lights, Electric Blanket, Moment Without Television, and The Celebrity Ribbon Cavalcade.
Visual AIDS also produces the annual Day Without Art poster, designed by Frank Moore, titled "Face It, Lick It" and introduces a new series of artist designed 8.5" x 11" black and white graphic broadsides for national distribution and easy reproduction. The first two broadsides are created by artists Barbara Kruger (Girl Don't Die For Love) and Glenn Ligon (Who Will Keep Their Dreams Alive).
