A screening of Peter Ungerleider's Loving Kindness (1995). This rarely-screened short film is a portrait of John Giorno that focuses on the AIDS Treatment Project, a Giorno Poetry Systems initiative giving grants to artists and poets with HIV/AIDS.

An open forum about artist-led forms of mutual aid and peer support, both past and present. How do artists show up for each other? How can small arts organizations show up for their communities in meaningful ways?

Featuring Shawn Escarciga (Visual AIDS), and Lia Gangitano (Participant Inc / Coalition of Small Arts NYC), moderated by Bonnie Whitehouse (GPS).
