Visual AIDS' 2019 Curatorial Resident J Triangular will screen their series THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING as a part a series of events at the University of Antioquia, organized by Cinema Club Nanook and the Institute of Regional Studies.

From the organizers: "We invite you to reflect on the meanings of exercising sovereignty over your own body from a lesbotransmaricon perspective. What happens in society when some beings appropriate their bodies and give themselves the power to name themselves and decide who and what they want to be? The basic idea of the films that make up this cycle is that the "rare" bodies hack the system of death and reification of all forms of life that sustains capitalism. They are poetic bodies in the midst of a manufacturing and extractivist system. It is an invitation to think critically from a lesbotransmaricon perspective on the relationships between bodies, territories and power."
