Virosis: arte y vih en Colombia
MAMBO (Bogota Museum of Modern Art)
Please join on March 16th for the opening of “Virosis: arte y vih en Colombia” at MAMBO (Bogota Museum of Modern Art) which includes works by thirty Colombian artists who have worked on HIV as a theme since the 80s until the present.
This exhibition is part of “Threads of Blood: histories memories of vih/aids in Colombia” will launch, an oral history archive that Pablo Bedoya and I have been producing for a few years. The project brings together the voices of 67 people who have participated in HIV/AIDS activisms in Colombia since the 80s and is an attempt to construct a memory of these histories, past and present.
