  • About

Visual AIDS participated in the tenth annual NY Art Book Fair, presented by Printed Matter, from September 18 to 20, 2015, at MoMA PS1, Long Island City, Queens. Free and open to the public, the NY Art Book Fair is the world’s premier event for artists’ books, catalogs, monographs, periodicals, and zines.

Visual AIDS previewed our newest monograph HUGH STEERS: The Complete Paintings, along with our Party Out of Bounds exhibition catalog, DUETS, previous publications, including exhibition catalogs, the Robert Blanchon monograph, and NOT OVER: 25 Years of Visual AIDS.

Plus artwork and editions from Tony Feher, Deborah Kass, Shan Kelley and more.

Visual AIDS was part of Friendly Fire, featuring publishers, artists and organizations focused on the intersections of art and activism. This diverse group of politically-minded collectives and presses focused on the intersection of art and activism, includes: Black Lives Matter (USA), World War 3 Illustrated (New York), and others. Curated by Printed Matter’s Max Schumann.
