Visual AIDS participateD in the eleventh annual NY Art Book Fair, presented by Printed Matter, from September 16 to 18, 2016, at MoMA PS1, Long Island City, Queens. Free and open to the public, the NY Art Book Fair is the world's premier event for artists’ books, catalogs, monographs, periodicals, and zines.
At Booth P10, Visual AIDS launchED the third and fourth volumes of our DUETS: In Conversation series, DUETS: Dean Daderko & Elaine Reichek in Conversation on Nicolas Moufarrege and DUETS: Ben Cuevas & Annie Sprinkle in Conversation. We also had available our newest monograph HUGH STEERS: The Complete Paintings, along with previouspublications, including DUETS, exhibition catalogs, and the Robert Blanchon monograph. Plus editions by Tony Feher and Zanele Muholi, tote bag design by Jessica Whitbread, and Visual AIDS latest Play Smart trading cards.

Visual AIDS will be part of Friendly Fire, featuring publishers, artists and organizations focused on the intersections of art and activism. This diverse group of politically-minded collectives and presses focused on the intersection of art and activism, includes: Black Lives Matter (USA), World War 3 Illustrated (New York), and others. Curated by Printed Matter’s Max Schumann.
