Visual AIDS Artist Member + Friends Party in Chicago!

Visual AIDS Programs Director Alex Fialho arranged the event for drinks and conversation, meeting Visual AIDS Artist+ Members, and bringing friends to help us build Visual AIDS community in Chicago.

Chicago-based Artist+ Members Charles Long, Rae Lewis-Thornton and Joseph Varisco as well as artist/curator John Neff and more spoke about their practice and work with Visual AIDS over the years, while Alex highlighted our current and upcoming programs and heard from attendees about ways to support creative practices and programs in Chicago and elsewhere.

The event was generously hosted by our friends at Western Exhibitions, where exhibitions by Elijah Burger and Sofia Moreno were on view.
