Write It Out! (WIO!) fosters community building, imagination, and wellness. Through a trauma-sensitive approach, we offer a safe and empowering space for people living with HIV and AIDS to explore and express their stories through playwriting.

The program will feature the nine(9) 10-minute plays from the 2026 Write It Out! Fellows.

RSVP HERE!

While guests may RSVP for free, a $25 suggested donation is greatly appreciated, allowing us to continue to support and uplift artists living with HIV/AIDS.

A $35 donation will secure you a reserved seat in the first four rows of the theater.

AUDIENCE AGREEMENT

HIV/AIDS Stigma Exists. The decision to openly live with HIV/AIDS still carries the risk of discrimination. Not all participants of Write It Out! (WIO!), current and alum, are open about their status. WIO! honors participants' journeys regarding their HIV/AIDS status and disclosure. WIO! upholds confidentiality. We ask folks to do the same. We're asking all attendees to refrain from sharing information about WIO! participants - current or alum - or from taking photos or videos unless given clear, direct consent. Thank you for understanding how stigma shows up and honoring the boundaries created.

We acknowledge that our program runs on the ancestral land of the Lenape and Canarsie people. We pay respect to their ancestors and descendants and especially celebrate our queer and Two-Spirit Indigenous communities.

Masks are encouraged for this event
