This vibrant benefit print for Visual AIDS, Enough Already, was inspired by her 2006 painting from the feel good paintings for feel bad times series, and the neon work of the same name in 2012. The color text against the fluorescent yellow background make these fun, but urgent words vibrate. Kass incorporates phrases from popular culture, movies, Broadway musicals, and Yiddish into her work, juxtaposing morsels from our collective psyche with iconic postwar imagery. Visually vibrant and captivating, her work belies a poignant anxiety about the political climate of our time, reflected in the mirror of popular culture and art history. Enough Already, 2014 was printed by Brand X Editions, measures 22 x 31 inches and is an edition of 40 with 10 A.P.s.
