Although I worked in creative fields my whole life, I didn't start painting until after I was diagnosed with AIDS. Spark Gallery, in Denver, offered a class for people with AIDS in the mid-nineties. I started going just as a diversion but eventually became passionate about art and painting and still feel that way to this day.
