
Marina Vergueiro is a filmmaker, poet, journalist, and advocate for women's mental and sexual health. She is the author of Exposta, a poetry book addressing issues of sexuality, fatphobia, and feminism. In 2022, she directed Letters to Myself, her debut short film, which explores the challenges of loving after an HIV diagnosis. Holding a master’s degree in "Alternative Cinema" from the Escuela de Cine y TV in Cuba, she is currently developing the feature-length project Undetectable, the film, which sheds light on the lives of women living with hiv in a world that rarely acknowledges them.
