Diane Figueredo is a multimedia artist whose practice investigates nature, human nature and the processes of the mind. She enjoys making work that is interactive, collaborative or tactile, as a way of building community with the public. Media she has explored includes printmaking, sound installation and virtual reality.
"With my work, I try to remind the audience that depth and detail can hold our attention, and bring a sense of awe and wonder into our hearts. My examples of beauty through patience encourage the viewer to slow down and adopt a more natural way of looking. Doing this lets us see and feel deeper." -Diane Figueredo
