In the Summer of 2011, she found herself searching for an alternative medium to analog and digital photography. An interest in scanography emerged. She was attracted by the nostalgic and dark look that scanography had to offer. Her distinct style is defined by memory, identity, loss and lucid dreams. Adopted objects, and pieces from the past have been collected, saved, stashed away over decades. The carefully selected objects become grouped, conversations occur and stories are told. Every so often, she finds herself haunting thrift stores and garage sales for objects that will evoke and express a certain spirit that would be otherwise elusive.
