Rev. Yolanda is a trans femme gender queer actor/singer/songwriter/performance artist/fine artist & interfaith minister, originally from Muscle Shoals, Alabama- The Hit Recording Capital of the World. Rev. Yolanda has been making music/theatre/TV/film/performance art for well over 40 years, and making fine artwork for over 50 years. Rev. Yolanda has won the NYC MAC Award twice and inducted into both the NY Blues Hall of Fame and StoneWall Society LGBTQAI+ Hall of Fame, as well as winning the OutMusician of The Year Award and several other music awards in NYC, while releasing 9 cds of her original music, with her 10th cd to be released in 2026

After graduation from NYC's One Spirit Interfaith Seminary, Rev. Yolanda founded the “spiritual happening” called Church With A 2 Drink Minimum with her beloved husband - the late Rev. Glen Morton Ganaway . Rev. Yolanda is also a founding member of NYC Chapter of Drag Story Hour NYC.  Her most recent projects are: The People's Artist (a national fine arts competition presented by Johnny Depp)
