Writer Mark Leydorf speaks with founding members, artists, staff, and collaborators to look at our 25 years of using art as a tool within the ongoing AIDS Crisis. He concludes the article with a quote from Nelson Santos, Visual AIDS Executive Director:

If there's a cure tomorrow, VA wouldn't close up shop because we don't think of it as just history. We're constantly aware of the now. When we're speaking of HIV/AIDS we're speaking about now.
