About once a week we at Visual AIDS get to witness in depth conversations about the life and times of Visual AIDS archive member David Wojnarowicz. These conversations are most often spurred on by mention of Cynthia Carr's new book: The Life and Times of David Wojnarowicz: Fire in my Belly.
Please join Visual AIDS and The Center for an intimate conversation with Carr about her book.

Author and art critic Cynthia Carr will offer up an exclusive
presentation to New York audiences about artist and AIDS activist David
Wojnarowicz, whose video piece A Fire in My Belly was famously
censored at the National Portrait Gallery in 2010. Carr will speak
about the artist and how his work evolved through his relationship with
photographer, mentor, and one-time lover, Peter Hujar, in addition to
signing copies of her critically acclaimed biography, Fire in the Belly: The Life and Times of David Wojnarowicz.
