Across from each other down on Orchard street, just off Canal, two innovative store fronts are heating things up the winter.

Invisible- Exports gallery is showing BOB MIZER: ARTIFACTS curated by Visual AIDS friend Billy Miller. It is a thoughtful show that places Mizer in the canon of important 20th century photographers, His crisp, mostly cheerful images of posed sculpted bodies speak on one level of beauty, and on another, the ways in which we are socialized to see, and be seen. It is an intimate show in which one can lose themselves in for days after.
