Front Line Workers, Bumming Cigarettes, Prison and Prevention

To honor World AIDS Day, The Feminist Wire put together a multi media forum exploring under discussed cultural, political, economic and social aspects of the epidemic. It makes for eye opening, thought provoking media consumption.

Highlights include a conversation with Black lesbian filmmaker tiona.m. (Tiona McClodden) , thoughts on the needs of Frontline HIV prevention workers by Lillian Rivera, MPH & Edgar Rivera Colón, PhD, and an encouraging personal essay from writer Bushra Rehman.
