Inspired by the content of the NOT OVER exhibition, J. Morrison presents a new site specific one-night performance.

As the title suggests, Future Crimes b/w Love Kills are two songs used to accompany the piece. As the exhibition links an earlier generation to the present, the songs pair a current group (Wild Flag) to a past singer (Freddie Mercury). Referencing the structure of a record, the work is performed in stages as the songs play as background music in parts of the piece.

Rooted in the artist's previous performances of a similar nature, the artist invites viewers to participate or simply observe the piece. Part-mystery, part-cinematic, and part-celebration of life, the piece offers a reflection of the past with hope for the future.
