Play Smart trading cards are an honest and straightforward approach to promote harm reduction, HIV testing and post-exposure prophylaxis. Play Smart features fun and sexy "pin-up" images and are packaged with two trading cards, a sticker, condoms and lube. The back of each trading card features information to help you play smart.
Play Smart 2012 features commissioned photographs by Amos Mac, Iván Monforte, Richard Renaldi and Christopher Schulz and are designed by John Chaich. The trading cards come in both English and Spanish, and feature information to help you play smart. This third edition of the PLAY SMART series aims to also create positive images of different bodies.
Visual AIDS began producing Play Smart in 2010 in conversation with The Men’s Sexual Health Project (M*SHP), an organization that promotes
sexual health among men who have sex with men in NYC and provides free
on-site testing for HIV and STDs at sex clubs and parties. Additional
Play Smart trading cards aim to create positive images of different bodies and strive to reach our diverse communities. Play Smart is a part of our Print+ Edition series.
