Visual AIDS is thrilled to be one of the organizations invited to sell posters as part of 2020Solidarity, a Between Bridges project aimed at helping cultural venues, community projects, independent spaces and publications that are existentially threatened by the COVID-19 crisis.
Available posters feature artwork by David Wojnarowicz with Tom Warren, Wolfgang Tillmans, Nicole Eisenman, Betty Tompkins, Marlene Dumas, Felipe Baeza, Tomma Abts, Melanie Bonajo, Gillian Wearing, Sabelo Mlangeni, Thao Nguyen Phan, and Spyros Rennt.
Between Bridges, a nonprofit space started by Wolfgang Tillmans, worked with artists and estates to create a diverse group of posters to be sold by individual organizations to support their work. Each poster is 23.4 x 16.5 inches in size, printed in an unlimited edition, but only available for a limited period of time. All income from the 12 posters sold in the Visual AIDS store will go directly to support Visual AIDS, providing essential donations to help us through the fundraising challenges of the current moment.
Posters will be available for sale until May 31st, and mailed to buyers when stay-at-home restrictions are lifted and we are able to return to our office.
