What is the link between HIV/AIDS and craft?

Toronto-based artist Jessica Whitbread and Brooklyn-based artist LJ Roberts gathered to explore how HIV/AIDS activism uniquely inspired their featured work in Queer Threads: Crafting Identity & Community which was on view until March 2014 at the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay & Lesbian Art, curated by John Chaich
