‘Beyond the High. The Chemsex Experience: Crisis, Resilience and Community’ is an exhibition project initiated by Gabi Moncayo-Asan and curated by Club Havera (Sheri Avraham and Gabi Moncayo-Asan). It will be hosted at ENTRE (www.entrevienna.com) from the 29th of May, running through June (during Pride month) through end of June 2025. The multidisciplinary exhibition will feature newly commissioned works alongside existing pieces by the artists Gabi Moncayo-Asan (videos art works, video testimonies, graphic works, and installations), Galo Moncayo Asan (sculpture installation), John Hanning (graphic work), Ed Firth (illustrations), Sheri Avraham (installations and performance), Sascha Knorr (a series of auto-biographical photographs), with further contributions by bichaboo collective (performance), Yasemin Duru (light design), Shari Hosseini (sound design). The program will include artists talks, panel discussions, and community meetings every Thursday at 18:00.
