Legacy Learning Series Workshops: HASA Application Tips
Led by NYC-based Artist Member Anthony Rosado
This session is for anyone in need of tips for maneuvering through the NYC Human Resources Administration process; whether it is EBT SNAP or SSA. The session is geared to the application for membership in the HIV/AIDS Service Association, which house HIV+ people. The HASA program pays for a portion or your total rent every month. The process to be accepted is strenuous, especially now during social distancing regulations and quarantine. This session will supply you with all the tips you need to effectively obtain your HASA membership and housing.
Seven "Legacy Learning" sessions ranging from housing assistance for HIV+ people to Afro-futurist visioning and Afro-Caribbean anthropology. All workshops are free for Black, Indigenous, and Trans people, donation based for LGBQIA+ and PoC, and $10.00 for people who identify as white. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. Some sessions are available for one-one-one reservation.
