From 1989 to 1998 Visual AIDS produced a series of Day Without Art posters, created by artists, designers and photographers, including Frank Moore, Leslie Sharpe, Yarrott Benz, Harvey Weiss, Darrell Ellis, Jorge Calderon, Frank Franca, Tom McGovern, and others. These posters were distributed nationally, and displayed by museums, art institutions, galleries, universities, LGBT groups, and AIDS service organizations for Day Without Art on December 1st.
