John Hanning is a Literary and Visual artist. He lives in Brooklyn where he creates paintings, collages, and books. His work is in the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art Research Library, New York, NY; the Museum of Modern Art Research Library, New York, NY; and Camera Austria Public LIbrary Graz, Austria. His work has been exhibited internationally at Spritmuseum, Stockholm, Sweden; the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA, Los Angeles, CA; and the Art Gallery of Guelph, Guelph, Canada.
Hanning is the author of Unfortunate Male, his first book.
